I started my working life as a hairdresser in the west end of London. I then moved to Brighton and furthered my career in finance. The ethos of Kate and her team to strive for a great memorable experience, with an eye for quality drove me to want to work as part of the team. I love welcoming clients, making appointments and most of all chatting. You’ll find me if not behind reception but, on the salon floor greeting clients.

Since being with SALT + SULI, my work has massively progressed, and I enjoy doing hair more each day. My Favourite aspect of colour is Balayage as it can create such diverse styles. I love the atmosphere in the salon, and I work with such a great team it makes my work more enjoyable. I have such a great passion for hairdressing, mainly because I love the finished outcome and giving clients happy hair and happy minds.

I have been in the hair industry since the day I left school. It’s an amazing job that doesn’t feel like work. I was trained by one of the best brands in the world and strive for perfection and want to continuously make my clients smile. I love creating short, sharp cuts and fading on gents. I have been on many courses, but I find the best place to learn and get inspiration is to watch the Stylist’s on the salon Floor.

I became a hairdresser because I love making people feel great about themselves, watching my client walk out of the salon with an extra spring in their step has always been my favourite part of my job. The sky is the limit at SALT + SULI, having a great team that supports you fills me with confidence to push myself further each day. I feel that my work is never done and there is always something new and exciting to focus on.

For as long as I can remember I always wanted to be a hairdresser! I’ve completed a number of courses to further my development – Hair extensions, master of balayage and lots of up to date colour training. My favourite aspect of hairdressing is blondes and balayage, this means I can make a personalised colour for all different hair types, which I love. I moved from Plymouth to start working at SALT + SULI and it was by far the best decision I have made.

I have always been an artistic person from a young age so becoming a makeup artist/beauty specialist seemed a very easy career path for me to choose. It brings me so much joy seeing clients reactions in the mirror when they give out the biggest of smiles! I love making people feel good about themselves - it’s definitely the highlight of the job.
